Installation of real time video and data collection system along the Route 91 Freeway in Orange County, California. Project added 10 CCTV's, 5 TMS', 2 CMS's 24 RMS's, and head end communications equipment. Installation, splicing and testing of total of 100,000' of 72 strand, 45,000' of 36 strand, 19,000' of 12 strand FOC. Electronic equipment installed in hub consisted of twelve Optical Video Receivers, 12 Optical Data Modems, 2, Video Codecs, 1, T-1 Data Multiplexer, and 1 Video Matrix switch. Equipment installed at TMC, 1 T-1 data multiplexer and 2 Video Decoders. Conducted a customized hands-on 4 day fiber optic training and maintenance course for 25 Caltrans employees.
